The Enhanced Supervision Program (ESP) was developed as the cornerstone for the Georgia Prisoner Reentry Initiative (GA-PRI) implemented in 2014 by Georgia's Criminal Justice Reform Council. The purpose of ESP is to reduce the recidivism rate of citizens involved in the criminal justice system. The initiative focuses on enhancing evidence-based skill proficiencies related to the Risk-Need-Responsivity (RNR) model of all prison staff, community supervision staff, and reentry social services partners. My role was to implement the ESP statewide, and provide trainings focusing on applications of the RNR model, motivational interviewing, and cognitive-behavioral skills.
