Currently working as a specialist in operations for B63 PnP manufacturing. Diverse Leadership Development Program cohort 1 member.For almost 3 years worked as a change owner for Distributed Projects/ Incoming Materials IPT at Merck West Point, PA. I assessed changes in diverse perspectives (safety, compliance, process, and people) to understand impact on Merck manufacturing process and implement changes. I work on projects that introduce new materials, qualify new storage locations and improve current processes. Finally, I support all vaccine franchises manufactured on site. This role is very fulfilling for me because it is wonderful to know that my work directly impacts people who depend on the vaccines that are produces in the site.I got to my current role by interning at Merck Rahway, NJ facility in 2018 in the facilities management team. Through this internship I learned project management skills, designing process flow charts, and streamlined processes for tracking items. In addition to interning at Merck Rahway, NJ, I worked for two years at the Department of Environmental Protection as a College Aide for the Asbestos Task Force. In this role I further enhanced my project management skills by getting understanding formal approval processes, proper filing of documents, contacting vendors and keeping track of budgets. All these roles have boosted my knowledge on project management skills and I've learned to really see a problem in multiple directions because each problem is unique, past lessons learned might not always applied. Finally, these experiences have taught me to think proactively and continuously look for ways to improve all processes around me. My goal is to learn beyond my current role and get involved in meaningful, fun projects that spark my interest, bring me joy, drive business objectives, and make my team more efficient.
