The Current Quarterly is Cape Cod's first and only fashion magazine. It is the best resource for finding the latest styles at locally owned shops and boutiques. With every quarterly issue, we produce a fashion show to benefit a local nonprofit, highlighting clothing from local businesses.Ebb and Flow Cape Cod is Cape Cod's only health, wellness and sustainability focused magazine. The bi-annual publication aims to connect Cape Codders with information about and providers of health, wellness and green topics and services.

Developed concept and brand for the boutique that sells environmentally friendly clothing and accessories.Perform all product purchasing for the store, as well as day-to-day administrative tasks.Perform all marketing, public relations and website maintenance for the business.Organize events inside the store, as well as partnering with other local businesses to put on events, outside of the store such as fashions shows, pop-up shops, and community forums.

Love Yoga Festival is a series of events that celebrate yoga, wellness and community on Cape Cod, MA —a beautiful destination in which to expand your practice.

Serve as the Project Coordinator for Cape & Islands Green, that officially verifies local small businesses as "green." Worked with local business organizations to develop the three level verification program that requires all participants to complete checklists associated with each of the levels. Provide workshops to introduce businesses to the program and its requirements.Provide guidance to businesses through the process of completing the checklists.Perform all marketing, public relations and website maintenance for the program.Perform research for homeowners and businesses on environmental initiatives that fit into their lifestyles and business models.Speak and present at various green forums, such as the Cape Cod Travel Industry Symposium and to community groups, such as the American Business Womens Association of Cape Cod. Coordinate events to educate the community on various environmental topics.Maintain website, blog and other social media marketing tools for the company.Completed Projects Include:Conducted LEED Certification analysis for a hotel development project.Performed a market, product and business analysis for clients interested in opening a "green" business.

Researched and wrote grants for HMSBID and partner organizations, which totaled 10% of the organization's annual budget.Planned and organized annual fundraiser, bringing in 5% of the organization's annual budget.Developed and launched a Shop Local branding and marketing campaign for the district, which included organizing bi-annual Shop Local days and carrying out various public education activities.Sustained communication and cultivated relationships with approximately 150 local business owners and 70 property owners.Managed and marketed arts, cultural and community programs meant to attract patrons to Main Street, Hyannis. This included successfully opening a cooperative art gallery for the Summer 2008 season.Managed and supervised interns.Developed and maintained the organization's website.Performed research and wrote position papers and columns on local statistics, community issues, as well as state laws. Designed and implemented various marketing and promotion initiatives, cooperative advertising, and a Main Street map and directory.Coordinated annual events such as a Holiday Stroll, Safe Trick or Treat and various summer programs.Managed HMSBID's budget, and performed all bookkeeping activities.

Researched and wrote articles on topics dealing with environment and society, natural resource economics, environmental policy, ecosystems, energy and sustainable development.Performed website maintenance and development.

Wrote Bioaerosol Sampling Reports, technical reports for activities related to Underground Storage Tank removal, and managed Reimbursement Requests to access funds from the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency for Leaking Underground Storage Tanks.Researched various subjects that are pertinent to the company, such as Indoor Air Quality standards and regulations, as well as health problems related to mold growth. Based on that research, developed EGSL's standard operating procedures for sampling, and analyzing Indoor Air Quality.

Developed a contact list of colleges, based on their environmental programs, in New York for the New York State/ America Recycles Day, as well as assisted staff in preparing for the Earth Day Celebration held for elementary schools across the state.

Researched individual projects and position papers on various aspects of the Cape Cod Sustainability Indicators Project, whose objective is to create a sustainable environment by integrating economic, social as well as environmental interests.Provided general office assistance.
