I assist with home buying, investing, building, renovating, and refinancing and also have the added bonus of being 'mobile' so will meet with my clients at a time and place that suits.

As a top performing Wellington Mobile Mortgage Manager I played a key role in acquiring new residential lending customers for Westpac. With a primary responsibility to grow market share in the area the role also consisted of working closely with other business units to ensure cross sale opportunities were met and an exceptional client experience achieved. I tailored mortgage packages for clients by building long-term relationships and offering a premium service with the added benefit of being flexible to meet clients a time and place that suited them.I assisted clients looking to purchase (whether that be a first time home buyer, clients looking to upsize/downsize or purchasing an investment property), refinance from another bank, build a new home, renovate or subdivide with experience in dealing with a variety or property types from standard residential standalone homes, apartments, townhouses, lifestyle blocks and company shares.

Wellington

This role involved hunting and growing new business whilst managing and retaining existing workflow from third party mortgage brokers. I was responsible for delivering outstanding service and worked closely with the brokers to provide credit approvals or recommendations on home lending applications for their clients. This role exposed me to a variety of home lending scenarios from straightforward applications through to more complex deals. This role, although short term, allowed me to hone my negotiation skills, boost my knowledge and enhance my experience in the retail mortgage lending industry.

Kapiti Coast

This role involved proactive and reactive interactions with both existing and new customers. I was branch-based and customer-facing. I managed clients' day-to-day banking including opening accounts, personal and home lending requirements, house and life insurance, Kiwisaver and credit cards as well as providing sound financial advice and budgeting techniques.During my time in this role, I discovered my passion for home lending and very quickly gained recognition as being customer centric, diligent and a proficient home loan specialist.

My role consisted of achieving sales targets and providing a professional service for personal and occasionally business customers. The targets mainly focused on loans, accounts, insurances, credit cards, Savings, and referrals of Mortgages, Investments, Pensions, Insurances, and Business Accounts. I consistently strived to hit set targets, often achieving above and beyond what was set. I was also part of a team of five top Personal Bankers in the South region on an Elite Personal Bankers course aimed to develop and progress transitions for top personal bankers into other roles; simultaneously training me to develop other people’s roles and encourage them to achieve high results. To drive my own performance I generated client relationships through cold calling, approaching clients in the branch, referrals, maintaining communication with other staff to target potential sales, and worked closely with specialists in the branch.
