Calling all ambitious entrepreneurs: I am on a mission to take your operational headaches away!In 2013, I rather wonderfully discovered the exciting entrepreneurial world and haven’t looked back! For the first five of those years I was operations manager for a £10m social impact investment fund, and as a result have regularly networked with and scouted for start ups to invest in, supported countless entrepreneurs through accelerator programmes, been their cheerleader, reviewed many pitch decks, watched hundreds of pitch presentations, and passed the time with them while waiting for funding news. Following this, I was operations manager for an innovation lab, running UK and global ideation campaigns which provided employees the opportunity to create and build their own products and services. Here I was able to fully champion innovation and encourage entrepreneurialism internally. I understand the entrepreneurial mindset and how different it is to the corporate world. It’s these combined experiences that excite me about continuing to work with entrepreneurs. Having started out my working life in admin support, I was recognised for having the right skills and attributes to work for a managing director as my first personal assistant role. For nine years, I had similar roles in FTSE 100, multinational, 1000 plus employee companies. With my unique experience as a senior personal assistant and supporting numerous start-ups to accelerate and grow, as well as working in two start-ups myself, I really can offer the business growth support you need.
