In her time at Floyd | Pflueger, she has gained extensive experience as a trial attorney in several matters and as a high-level problem-solver for her clients.Before entering private practice, Amanda served as judicial law clerk for the Honorable Lisa L. Sutton of the Washington State Court of Appeals, Division II, drafting appellate opinions and prehearing memoranda, recommended potential legal outcomes in each case, and advised the panel of judges on emerging legal issues and developments related to the cases.Amanda received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Washington in 2007. In 2014, Amanda graduated cum laude from the Seattle University School of Law. Prior to law school, Amanda specialized in aiding for-profit and non-profit startups in developing policies and procedures, hiring employees and staff, working with organization senior staff and advising the Boards of Directors in the development of responsible growth plans and financial management practices. After serving as Senior Administrator at the Academy for Precision Learning in Seattle, Washington, for nearly four years, Amanda left organizational management to pursue a legal career.Amanda grew up in Nampa, Idaho, and lives in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood with her husband, John, their son, Kelan. Outside of the office and advocating for her clients, Amanda volunteers her time for several non-profits in the area, and enjoys spending time with her family taking walks around Ballard, attending Kelan’s baseball games, kayaking, gardening, and home improvement projects.
