I wish I had known in college that careers aren't always linear—having diverse professional paths is normal and valuable.After graduating, I landed my dream job at a non-profit adoption agency. As an adoptee, helping children find their forever families was deeply meaningful. Managing teams in three countries taught me cross-cultural communication and the value of diversity and inclusion, laying the foundation for my commitment to DEIB in my career and life.A mentor later encouraged me to become an adjunct instructor, sparking my unexpected passion for teaching and leading me to pursue higher education full-time. I gained experience in curriculum design, coaching, team leadership, and business collaboration while earning certifications in coaching, design thinking, and DEIB.My career then shifted to the corporate world, where I applied my skills in recruitment marketing and talent development. I led internal branding and training programs, leveraging my educational background.I’m excited to bring my recruitment and talent expertise to Mother Parkers Tea & Coffee and enter the world of manufacturing.
