Responsible for policy development, research, and outreach in the Connecticut portion of the tri-state NY/NJ/CT region. Recent work has included an assessment of transit-oriented development policies in towns served by Metro-North commuter rail service, an inventory of construction and rehabilitation projects required for restoration and improvement of Metro-North commuter rail service in CT, coordination of the New York - Connecticut Sustainable Communities Consortium, technical assistance to Connecticut communities seeking to promote transit-oriented development, and ongoing involvement with the City of Bridgeport's BGreen 2020 plan for sustainable economic growth. Also staff co-chair for RPA's Fourth Regional Plan housing working group.
