Amanda Fernandes has been working in the audiovisual sector for over a decade. Her films and series have won more than 30 awards at festivals around the world, including LAWebFest, the Gramado Film Festival and the Brasilia Film Festival. As a producer and recently as a creator, she has already been selected for several international programs, such as WAWA-Lifetime Mentoring Program (2022), Bajo Guion International Writers Residency (2021), Campus DocsBarcelona (2021), WCSFP's Emerging Producers (2020) and COLAB PerfomAção (2019). Since 2019, he has been attending international markets such as NATPE, Kidscreen, Rio2C, MIFA, Pixelalt, MIPs, Ventana Sur, among others. Enthusiastic about mixing different artistic languages, such as literature, dance and visual arts, she created AKWA CREATIVE LAB, her second production company, with the aim of developing transmedia and interactive narratives and creating international IP for children and female audiences. She is currently making her debut as director of 'Lírio', a 2D animated series in co-production with Chile. In addition, as an author, she is building the high fantasy world 'Ashänkya' and developing her trilogy of short films 'The Three Colors of Water' - 'Metamorfosis', 'Syncopa' and 'Empire', where each short film has its own art installation. From 'Metamorfosis' comes his first visual art series in post-production called 'ROJO, el rito de transformación ancestral'. Since 2022 he has been working in the Latin American market, based in Brasilia, Brazil and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
