With over eight years of experience in the field of employment services, I launched Pathways Career Consulting in 2003, with the goal of helping people find fulfilling, balanced, and joyful careers. After assisting hundreds of people through employment programs in the non-profit and government arenas, I decided that finding a career was more than matching a person to a job. As a Certified Life Purpose Coach and Career Development Facilitator, I believe people deserve to "follow their bliss" through work that nurtures them, adds meaning to their lives, and value to their community.

CareerHub is a cloud communications software that helps education, workforce development, and social service providers communicate easily with clients. We use texting, email, and voice campaigns to stay in touch with clients and e-gifts to motivate clients to stay in touch. As co-founder, I work with our software development team to develop content, set technical direction, and drive the marketing strategy. Work with the Office of Workforce and Economic Development coordinating grant funded career and technical education projects. Projects include developing high school and middle school career counseling curriculum, outreaching to community organizations, colleges and schools. Also work in on industry sector initiatives developing career pathway high school academies in San Francisco Unified School District. Key projects include the Equity and Algebra Project, Dual Enrollment Initiatives, Bay Area Career Guide, Steps Program: Middle School College & Career Exploration Project, and Washington and Burton High School Pre-Engineering Academies.

On behalf of the Gap Foundation, revised an existing career exploration curriculum for high school students called Career Launch. Developed a 3 part training designed for high school teachers to learn to deliver the curriculum in an after school setting. Provided technical assistance during implementation of the project.

Worked in a non-public school setting as a class room aid and counselor to small groups of severely emotionally disturbed children. Taught fine arts and recreation to students. Provided counseling support to the clinical staff.

Ran after-school recreation programs at school sites with K-5 grade students. Developed arts, games, sports, science, and recreation activities.Was also responsible for summer and school-year registration for all events, activities, camps, swim lessons, classes, and facility rentals.
