As a Michigan New Educators Coordinator at Michigan Education Association, I co-founded and led a professional support program for new teachers across Michigan. I designed and facilitated virtual learning opportunities, created engaging content, presented at conferences, and coached aspiring educators on career development. I also developed a social media strategy to increase membership and organized social mixers to promote networking.I am currently pursuing a Master of Education degree in Learning and Technology at Western Governors University, with a focus on data-driven curriculum design and online instruction. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in German Language and Literature from Michigan State University, and I have traveled extensively and gained cultural awareness through my study of the German language. I have also worked as a Program Leader at CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange, where I led groups of students during a month-long program in Berlin, and as a German Teacher at Rochester Community Schools, where I achieved highly effective performance ratings and utilized technology to engage learners.I am an experienced educator, leader, and life-long learner, with a passion for connection, communication, and collaboration. I value personal and professional growth, and I seek to help and empower others through my work. I am always eager to learn new skills, explore new cultures, and take on new challenges.
