About Amanda Giles
I am a Software and Web Developer with 20 years experience working in various industries who thinks it's ridiculous to write about oneself in the 3rd person. Since 2009, I've been focusing on WordPress development, primarily using WordPress as a CMS to build beautiful websites with complex back-end functionality. I also have extensive experience in Crystal Reports and other reporting solutions. I'm interested in all manner of work in any of my specialties, but especially WordPress, reporting and web programming.As a WordPress developer, I don't just code the necessary theme or plugin files. I work with clients to fill in the holes between the design and the final product. I ask probing questions in order to architect a robust solution that will work in the long term, not just today. I create websites with intuitive interfaces so that they can be easily maintained by non-technical staff. I work with individual clients, but I also have long-term partnerships with a number of agencies where I turn their ideas and designs into beautifully executed fully-formed projects to please their clients.In 2011, I founded the Seacoast NH WordPress meetup and I continue to be its main organizer to this day. We hold monthly meetups aimed at Users and Developers.
