Real Teams Coaching supports Senior Leaders to overcome a range of limiting beliefs, facilitating growth mindsets as an advocate of change, delivering coaching to those experiencing organisational evolution. I design, lead and facilitate people, process and technology-enabled change within complex environments across the private, public and charity sectors, coaching leaders through change and driving the achievement of organisational diversity objectives. My growing portfolio of executive coaching clients trust me, as an EMCC Accredited Executive Coach, to adopt a relational coaching approach to facilitate their personal and professional growth. My clients present to me when experiencing a myriad of concerns. These include, leading effectively through change, delivering impact, effective group working or transition to new teams (particularly in light of organisational restructuring), growing confidence, dispelling imposter syndrome, and so on...Sometimes they require a lengthy programme of sessions which support self-led goal attainment; other times, they simply require a light touch to enable access to their own consciousness and a switch of mindset around a specific issue they're encountering.I manage these concurrent coaching programmes to support growth and overcome limitations and confidence blocks for individuals in high-profile, demanding positions either as private clients, via their businesses or through intermediary agencies. Initially, I assess client needs to establish goals and/or barriers, before moving into the client led coaching space. Recent clients include a CEO of a National Charity transitioning into the commercial sector, assisting a new MD of a National Charity land with impact in her role, Senior Management Team maternity returners and high-potential leaders preparing for progression to partnership in a 'Big 4' consultancy.
  • Bae Systems Applied Intelligence
    Senior Manager, Business Consulting
Bae Systems Applied Intelligence Jun 2008 - Sep 2015
Over 7 years I engaged in a multitude of change projects for clients within the National Security sector. I provided business consulting expertise (SME) and people management to 100+ consultants. I managed a wide variety of people and process change projects. 1 notable project being the leadership of a workstream on a tri-departmental, 5 year, £500m government programme to establish national capability, from disparate elements within 3 culturally diverse government departments. An essential skill required in any Change project, is the ability to encourage innovation. I've consistently done this throughout my career through partnership with business to establish their objectives, developing bespoke initiatives which support long term organisational development goals. My role required me to provide valuable insight into the importance of managing change and the important impact on the people affected, equipping senior leaders with the ability to both understand the concerns of others and be empowered with the tools to help overcome them. I truly believe that the skills I developed in supporting change, have added a unique layer of empathy and understanding to my coaching. It's certainly enable me to build rapport and trust rapidly, by demonstrating a genuine interest in sought after outcomes, acting as a champion for the users and their requirements, whilst also translating those requirements into distinct deliverables for any project or programme to use as milestones towards goal attainment. My time with BAE Systems Applied Intelligence achieved outstanding results in customer satisfaction, retained repeat business, with significant revenue growth across all projects, exceeding client expectations and enabling the attainment of business objectives through successful and sustainable change strategies.
  • Edf (Uk) Formerly British Energy Power & Energy Trading
    Business Architect
Edf (Uk) Formerly British Energy Power & Energy Trading Oct 2007 - May 2008
    Uk
I was the business architect on a £10m change programme to upgrade the Trading and Risk Management systems. With accountability for the development of the entire conceptual solution design, overseeing 3rd party Consultants and Solution Providers, I co-ordinated adequate business input into programme output. I ensured that there was companywide coherence to the various change projects alighted therein and provided assurance to the Executive Leadership through reports and status updates, how business objectives were being met. As one would expect, any large-scale change requires a great deal of Business Analysis to guarantee that whilst devising plans and strategies, a full schedule of work can be realistically draw up. Such was the case here, and the full system update project was successfully delivered within project timescales. As with all my roles, whether in Change / Transformation Projects, or indeed as an Executive Coach, I've adopted a collaborative working methodology, adapting a more directive approach when required, which has allowed me to influence the engagement of reluctant users through a journey from an entirely negative starting point, to becoming absolute advocates for new ways of working, with positive mindsets and an openness to change.
