The project team is progressing a commercial-scale carbon transport and storage service to link Victoria's Latrobe Valley with geological storage in the Gippsland Basin. This project will enable new clean industries such as hydrogen; create new job opportunities; and lead to a significant reduction in Victoria's carbon emissions.CarbonNet is working with the local community, landowners and adjacent projects to identify a suitable pipeline corridor from Loy Yang to Golden Beach. We thank the Gippsland community for their interest and consideration at this early point in identifying the geographical and environmental footprint of the project.
