I'm Amanda, the human behind Put A Cup In It, a revolutionary platform breaking taboos surrounding periods and empowering individuals to make informed choices about their menstrual health (and beyond.) I love making information approachable and accessible, and have been a vocal advocate for menstrual health for over a decade. Put A Cup In It is the most trusted & comprehensive resource for all things sustainable period care. It started in 2015 with a menstrual cup comparison chart, advocacy sticker, and the simple idea of helping others learn about menstrual cups, but soon grew to include an extensive library of guides, helpful tools, content on related topics — and, of course, a vibrant, inclusive community. To keep my creativity flowing, I enjoy what I lovingly call playing with pixels, and have for almost as long as I can remember. While it doubles as work, it is definitely more of a passion. I have created designs for textiles (both for digital and rotary printing), advertising, publication design (magazine, programs, manuals, & catalogs), marketing graphics, product packaging, website graphics (headers, logos, etc.), educational illustrations, intuitively formatted documents, and more. I enjoy growing my design skills by taking on new projects and styles and taking risks with out-of-the-box ideas. I am fluent in and comfortable with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, & Lightroom, the Microsoft Office suite, and Google Docs. In addition to graphic design, I have over a decade of experience in social media marketing, content writing & editing, SEO strategy, affiliate integration, brand management, basic HTML & CSS coding, WordPress management, and consulting in these areas.A snapshot of my portfolio can be viewed at www.amandahearn.com
