I currently a student attending classes at Globe University at the Rothschild campus, studying Veterinary Technology. I have been very successful in all of my classes since starting January 2015 and even made Honors every semester, but one.I was lucky enough to land my current position as a Veterinary Assistant/ Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) in Training at All Creatures Veterinary Clinic in Minocqua, WI due to a class project in early 2015. What the assignment was that I had to follow a CVT for several hours at two clinics, ask them a few questions about the profession then write a report afterwards. I chose to do mine at All Creatures and as well as the Northwoods Wildlife Rehabilitation Center also in Minocqua, WI. That opportunity totally changed my life for the better because I really love my job.As a worker I am a goal-orientated person who works very hard at every task given to me. I have been this way ever since I was twelve years old started out by doing yard work and cleaning cabins at a local resort. I eventually ended up working many local jobs in the service industry as a cook, hostess and as a waitress. I have also been in retail, selling anything from clothes to books, even telemarketing with Charter Cable selling their cable and internet services. What I took from all of these jobs is not only people skills, but different problem solving strategies, how to work/ deal with chaotic situations, as well as knowing the importance of working together as a team.All of these qualities have helped me a lot through the years and I know they will still help me in my future endeavors.
