My professional passion centers on collaborating with mission-driven organizations - federal, state, and local government agencies; community-based organizations; non-profits; K-12 schools and school systems; institutions of higher education; and federal program grantees - to solve problems with data-driven decisions and solutions.I completed my Ph.D. in cognitive psychology and designed a program of research that explored how cultural systems shape reasoning and epistemologies. My approaches include applying behavioral and social science research and evaluation methods; developing data collection and data management systems, facilitating teacher training programs, conceptualizing and designing courses, and building community with other scientists via peer-to-peer networks and national conferences.
