As the Assistant English Teacher, I am responsible for rotating through six different schools in Mitake Town. At three elementary schools, I am the lead English teacher, which requires me to structure creative and engaging lesson plans that educate students on the basics of the English language and American culture. All of these lesson plans are created in both Japanese and English. At three junior high schools, I am the Assistant English Teacher to a Japanese Teacher of English. Together, we are responsible for preparing the students for exams and helping them obtain an intermediate English proficiency. Approximately every two weeks, I am responsible for creating activities, worksheets, or entire lessons that complement the standard curriculum.
