About Amanda Freitag
As an Field Colleague Trainer at CVS, my primary role is to facilitate training classes for colleagues in multiple retail locations throughout Maryland & Delaware. I partner with store and field leaders to identify training needs and develop plans to address those needs. My journey with CVS started in 1998 when I became a pharmacy tech after high school. I continued to grow and develop with the company while in college, working as a greeting card merchandiser and Assistant Store Manager. After graduation, I spent a year as a floating tech helping to resolve various issues identified by the District Sales Manager and Pharmacy Supervisor. In 2004, I was promoted to Pharmacy Trainer and spent the next 10 years helping to train and develop our pharmacy staff in store across Maryland, DC and Virginia. I then moved into an Intern Coordinator role where I helped to recruit pharmacy students to become future pharmacists and spent one year as a Store Manager in Washington DC.When I'm not working, I can often be found traveling the local area with my camera as photography is a passion of mine. I love to take road trips in the area and spend time spoiling my 2 wonderful nephews.All thoughts are my own.
