I make sure my clients understand their benefits, that they are well covered, and that they can count on me if they need something. Insurance is a perfect pairing of my love for sales and customer service. Aside from it being a great fit for my skill set, I get to work with my parents who have been in the business for almost 40 years. I feel so fortunate to be able to work closely with them and have them as mentors. In the summer of 2019, I began working with an independent insurance company. This is a group of individuals who are incredibly experienced, talented, and dedicated to customer service. What drew me to the position was I get to help people solve fairly complex problems and prevent them from a potentially crippling situation in the future. My background is in psychology and I spent about 10 years in social work. Working closely with people is in my blood. I discovered that I love sales after spending the last 5 years selling consulting services, software and even peaches in various roles. After all, sales is the crossroads between understanding your customer needs and knowing you have a product that will genuinely make their lives better.
