Amanda Meyer has been a publicist for 20 years and recently launched AJM Public Relations, LLC.Clients include Mercer Labs, Museum of Art and Technology, and Paul Tazewell, Tony Award-winning and Academy Award-nominated designer. Tazewell is WICKED's Costume Designer for the blockbuster film's Part 1 and Part 2 by Universal Pictures. Tazewell's designs are also in Broadway productions "Suffs," "Death Becomes Her" and "Hamilton." While at DKC/O&M, clients included Rockwell Group theatrical projects, CIVILIAN Hotel, Broadway productions including the 2024 revival of "The Wiz," Tony Award-winning revival of "Parade," Cameron Crowe’s Tony-nominated "Almost Famous," Lee Daniels' Tony-nominated "Ain't No Mo'," "Bob Fosse’s Dancin’," "Diana The Musical," "Thoughts of A Colored Man," "The Lehman Trilogy" and "To Kill A Mockingbird," and more. Experiential projects included Original Immersive Van Gogh for its premiere and return NYC engagement, Monet's Garden: The Immersive Experience and Wonderland Dreams by Alexa Meade, 2022 Academy Awards design press campaign and Burning Man auction at Sothebys, both on behalf of designer David Korins.During the pandemic, she volunteered most of her time with Be An #ArtsHero, an intersectional grassroots campaign dedicated to securing proportional relief and awareness of the Arts & Culture sector of the American economy. She also volunteered with the Women's March in Washington, DC on the artist relations team.In Chicago, she represented Tony Award-winning "Hamilton" for its three+ year record-breaking run in Chicago, World Premiere of Hamilton: The Exhibition, Chicago premiere of Teatro ZinZanni, several World Premieres of Pre-Broadways including Tony Award-winning "Kinky Boots," "The Book of Mormon," "Wicked," Disney Theatricals "The Lion King," and led press campaigns for more than 150 Broadway productions during her time representing Broadway In Chicago. As Vice President at Margie Korshak, Inc., Amanda secured Navy Pier as a client, and spearheaded award-winning press campaigns for the Pier's year-round arts & culture programmatic offerings, including The Rolling Stones’ Exhibitionism exhibit and "The Beach," one of the first immersive attractions in 2019. Prior to MKI, Meyer worked at Carol Fox & Associates and her clients included Blue Man Group, Cirque du Soleil, Chicago Theatre, and Radio City Rockettes. Amanda is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago with a concentration in Public Relations and Marketing Communications.
