Executive Director
CurrentChannelling funds from businesses and philanthropists who want to protect, restore, and regenerate nature in Devon to the grassroots projects and organisations that will make it happen.Areas of interest: landscape regeneration, river restoration, and marine conservation. Why Devon? It's one of the largest, least populated counties in the UK with plenty of green space and two distinctive coastlines. Just 3-4 hours from London, it's a tangible, accessible location for directing UK regenerative funding - that funders, employees, and customers could visit to see the positive impacts on nature for themselves. There are already lots of brilliant environmental initiatives happening in Devon - including rewilding, regenerative agriculture, nature corridors, reintroduction of keystone species, wildlife safaris, sustainable fisheries, and marine permaculture - but many of these are fledgling projects that need financial support to replicate and scale their impact. At a time when many people and businesses are recognising the urgent need to give back more than we take from nature, my role is to connect the most promising, innovative, impactful projects with the businesses and environmental philanthropists that are inspired by their stories, want to share in their successes, and enable their positive impacts to be replicated exponentially.www.devonenvironment.org (coming soon)Instagram: @Devon_EnviroTwitter: @Devon_EnviroFacebook: @DevonEnvironment#DevonEnvironmentFoundation #DEF #ConservationCollective #NatureBasedSolutions #NaturalClimateSolutions #Devon #Nature #EcoTourism #EnvironmentalPhilanthropy #RegenerativeBusiness #ForNature #Regeneration #MoreNature
