I work as a registrar within the hospital. My current responsibilities include checking patients in for their appointments and walk in testing, updating patient information as they arrive on site, verifying insurance eligibility, along with clerical tasks such as filing, answering phones, etc.

I worked as a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant at the Ivy Brook Imaging and Diagnostic Center in Shelton, CT, an outpatient radiology center associated with Griffin Hospital. My responsibilities included reception work such as answering phones, greeting patients, filing and computer work. I also operated as a Registrar, and check patients in prior to their testing while updating their current information and entering their tests so they are ready for the technologist.

I worked in the Front Office of the Radiology Department at Griffin Hospital. I was responsible for checking patients in to the department prior to their tests, clerical duties such as filing, faxing, answering and directing phone calls. I was also functional in the Film Library department, where I assisted with maintaining the filing system of inpatient and outpatient films.

I work as a EMT-Basic. I provide emergency medical care to patients on an as-needed basis, including medication administration. I am also responsible for providing proper documentation about every dispatched call.
