Provide support for internal and external communications for JM&A Group, including:Creating on-brand messaging that promotes and explains our businesses, as well as the work we do for our customers.Sharing insights on key trends and themes shaping the automotive retail and F&I industry.Partnering with internal clients to ensure their communications plans are aligned with strategic priorities and brand guidelines as necessary. Utilizing multiple platforms, including email, print, digital, social and blogs to define and deliver compelling content.

Primary Responsibilities:1. Compose and disseminate daily news email for senior management, including conducting online research, writing article summaries, posting news on Intranet and archiving company mentions for reporting.2. Draft engaging communications for internal and external audiences, including e-mail blasts, newsletter stories, community events, website copy, ad copy and advertorials, etc.3. Maintain and update internal communications calendar, including associate-directed communications and newsletter stories.4. Actively participate in planning and executing strategic communication campaigns in support of the company's business objectives, mission and core values.5. Manage and update company press kit and executive biographies.6. Assist with FORTUNE magazine's "100 Best Companies to Work For" annual application process.7. Provide administrative support to department, including processing invoices, managing subscriptions, serving as point of contact with third-party vendors, etc.8. Assist with media relations efforts as needed, and maintain extensive consumer and trade media list of national, regional and local print publications, broadcast (TV/radio/cable), wire services and online news sources

I have volunteered and worked for Big Brothers Big Sisters since 2001 in many capacities. My professional path included fulfilling the following roles: executive assistant, marketing assistant and then communications manager. As the communications manager, my work focused in the areas of community partnerships, public relations, marketing, fundraising events, grant writing, donor stewardship, website and social media. I provided support with all events hosted and supported by the agency and work on any other projects that further the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County. Additionally, I represented the agency in several partnerships with our state association and national organization.
