I have worked within all platforms (MAGIC, CS, and 6x), but have worked extensively with new, as well as migrating customers from MAGIC, or C/S, to the 6x platform. I have personally implemented over seven different facilities, cleaning up, building, and advising on all PHA dictionaries to meet their specifications and to fully function as part of the integrated MEDITECH software. I have worked with customers that have gone Live with full CPOE , and also have experience with hybrid systems for non-CPOE facilities. Specifically, I have experience building formulary and non formulary drugs to be properly ordered, charged, and documented on across all modules. This includes basic, dual strength, and chemotherapy medications, titrations, vaccines, IV and medication order strings, as well as PHA and OM order sets. I have extensive experience working with the PHA drug dictionary, along with all PHA dictionaries. I also have experience with the mass inactivation procedure and building order strings in the ambulatory drug dictionary. I hold basic knowledge and experience for building PHA rules. Working with several unique facilities has given me the knowledge and experience needed to deliver options and advise on the best way to build the software to suit a specific facility's needs.
