I am a student of the Business Administration - Marketing program at Sheridan College and was previously a student in Science at University of Waterloo.My interests and skills lie in social media marketing and management. I have been working as a self-employed social media content creator or 'influencer'. Because of this, I have extensive experience with marketing on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube and Twitch. Being self-employed, I depend on myself to run my business, which has taught me organization, time management, communication, and problem-solving skills. To further support my work, I learned how to effectively make use of programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premeire Pro, Google Services, and Microsoft Office. Overall, these competencies have allowed me to find success in marketing myself as an influencer.As a student and worker, I have consistently taken on leadership roles whether that be in clubs, group project or during work training. I received a Dance Leadership award two years in a row for planning, and running the dance club in my high school. This included choreographing, teaching, and conducting rehearsals for over 20 students in preparation for performances.I chose to pursue a business and marketing education at Sheridan College because of my passion for digital marketing. There, I learned the professional methods and practices used in the current marketing industry such as developing marketing plans, setting actionable marketing goals, analyzing performance, and optimizing SEO or social media usage. Additionally, studying at a post-secondary institution has allowed me to work in a team environment to achieve goals and and produce a variety of marketing campaigns.
