Excective Assistant To The Ceo/ Marketing Development Business Director
CurrentOn a daily basis responsibilities included going through email; tossing out spam and marking those that were either somewhat or exceptionally important. Phone calls were handled in the same manner. Oversaw CEO’s schedule on a daily basis and held daily meetings, overseeing a staff of at times over 7 individuals within the office, delegating tasks to each of them based on the needs and expectations of the CEO and the day ahead. The Company team was amazing, and with only a 2 person turn around in 7 years our company is particularly proud of that. We were a nationwide company, so we had our own software developed for us, (American Powersport Recovery, which since has been used by other third party companies such as ours) where I reconciled accounts receivable and payable, ensured we had all of our agents insurance updated and valid within the software, and handled getting out 1099s during tax season to our agents who were all sub-contractors. Marketing skills within this company were needed, so simply after taking a few local seminars, I was self-taught and ran with it. I managed to add agent accounts on a continual basis nationwide, with the main goal finding banks to work for the company. Bank of America and GE Money bank were our largest lenders, among some other smaller banks in the power sport loan industry. Responsible for various Human Resources as well, responsible for all interviews; all new-hires and terminations were discussed with CEO before doing so. Set up all training manuals, trained each new employee, and made sure their employee files were kept up to date. Each quarter it was expected to analyze our numbers, daily functions to quarterly functions, and find solutions to make each quarter better than the next. These are just a few of the daily to monthly responsibilities being the Executive Assistant and Marketing Business Director.
