CurrentIn this role, I manage delivery of internal and external strategic communication and stakeholder engagement services to support successful project delivery in the South precinct. I have been involved in several high profile and contentious projects with complex stakeholder relationships and interdependencies.My role included responsibility for:► Development, implementation and evaluation of communication and stakeholder engagement strategies and plans ► Effective management of community information and engagement needs► Complex project management (Up to 15 concurrently) – including cost and time► Multi-disciplinary stakeholder management and relationship development – internal and external stakeholders► Provision of specialist advice to build community awareness and capacity initiatives► Identification and development of ways to assist the community participation in RMS projects► Development and delivery of community and stakeholder events, workshops and community consultation activities to maximise community engagement and feedback► Ministerial enquiry responses► Media unit liaison► Project briefing► Communications in response to stakeholder and community concernsHighlights included:● Assisting with heavy initial workload to successfully reduce backlog and achieve smoother program operations● Analysis of investigations, consultations and outcomes of consultation report to progress consultation process for complex, contentious and Council sensitive project in Sydney’s south - included community and stakeholder consultation, communication and consultation materials, workshops and briefings, issues management and Government liaison● Complex community consultation project for construction of a politically sensitive, contentious and community opposed project - managed stakeholder concerns, developed communications and engagement strategies to mitigate misunderstandings and concerns; while enhancing RMS’ reputation
