While previously working in corporate communication and for large agencies, I heard time and time again that I was “too vested” in my clients and their success. I found myself asking clients, friends and loved ones why they went to work every day. From putting their kids through school to keeping a roof over their heads, every single answer had one common theme: it was personal. And it was especially personal to the small business owners who put their whole lives into their businesses, who couldn’t necessarily afford the large agency marketing and whose voices just weren’t being heard.That's why Collective Alternative was created. With a focus on helping small businesses and a mission of making business personal, I am proud to lead a team of talented, determined and creative professionals and work together to create custom marketing strategies with comprehensive solutions that bring real, tangible results for our clients. In 2019, I was recognized for my community contributions by both KIT Magazine as a finalist for Women Making a Difference and by receiving the most distinguished Darrell Gossett "Heart & Sole" award from CHAMP Camp, a summer program for kids with tracheostomies and respiratory issues. I was proud to be named the 2020 Person of Integrity by the Better Business Bureau Serving Central Indiana.
