About Amanda Schaefer Msn, Rn

I truly believe that everyone has a calling in life. I was fortunate in identifying the convergence of my talents and passion early on. I had no doubt that I was meant to provide support to the healthcare industry upon enrolling in nursing school. After graduating and assuming a role as a Registered Nurse in 2010, I immediately fell in love with the Maternity and NICU departments. While faithfully serving as a patient care advocate, I slowly began to realize that my talents could be better utilized on a more administrative level. Therefore I pursued my MSN in 2013 and quickly distinguished myself amongst my peers. As I learned more about the managerial duties require to properly run a floor I began to understand the benefits of effective management.
