Amanda Vernor is a seasoned professional in the Classical Pilates and Gyrotonic communities, an instructor trainer, and a business coach for service-based professionals in the boutique fitness and wellness industries. Amanda began teaching in 2002 while working as a freelance copywriter in Los Angeles. Between demanding hours writing copy and pitching new business for global agencies, she found herself most at peace while teaching. So after 14 rewarding years in the advertising industry, she committed herself to finding success as an Instructor and Studio Owner, and began teaching full-time. Amanda opened Somaspace in 2009. In 2021, she was approved to operate as GYROTONIC® Austin Central, and in 2023, she became a trusted partner and branch of Alycea Ungaro's renowned Real Pilates Teacher Training® program. She founded Balanced State LLC in 2023 to provide bespoke coaching services to boutique studio owners and wellness entrepreneurs.
