I'm here to use my passion to help others to improve my patients quality of life. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board, I provide direct client care in a variety of applied behavior analysis (ABA) settings including clinic, home, and school; by utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements. Through prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols, I collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior. While utilizing safe and appropriate handling procedures to maintain client confidentiality in a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment. Previous to becoming a BCBA, I was a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for 5 years. Prior to being an RBT, I worked for 10 years of as a Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT) and Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). As a RPT and CPhT I worked in retail, specialty, compounding, and hospital pharmacies, as well as in market research in pharmacy safety. I am HIPAA compliant and proficient in patient care, prescription filling, inventory control, non-sterile compounding, insurance verification, billing, state reporting, prior authorizations, Medicare parts A-B-D, Medicaid, Medication Therapy Management, as well as diabetic education and testing. In September 2020 I earned my Masters in Science in Applied Behavior Analysis from National University. In August 2021 I began my PhD in Applied Behavior Analysis with the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in DC 1 or 2 weekends a month. As a new BCBA, I hope to help my neurodivergent clients, and their families, not only flourish, but thrive in every aspect of their lives.
