I am a student currently at the University of Washington, within my third year of education for English and Linguistics. I am hoping after getting my Bachelor's in English and Linguistics to go on to pursue law education to become an attorney. Previously, I have worked within retail as a Seasonal Sales Associate at Lush, and as a Seasonal Guest Advocate within Target. Both of these gave me customer service experience, policy comprehension skills, and creative problem solving skills. I have also worked as a caretaker for a special needs adult within my family, giving me immense patience and de-escalation skills. Additionally, I have undertaken commission work as an artist. Currently I am working as a Membership Coordinator for the ASUW Senate within University of Washington. This means I have been trained on managing large databases and scheduling large events. I have been elected into this position by my peers after previously being elected into On Campus Committee Chair. This position officially starts in September, however I am doing upkeep work through the summer.Outside of that, I have training in technical communications and CAD- although, CAD no longer aligns with my current employment goals. This does mean, however, I am experienced in the jargon associated with technical communications regarding technology, robotics, and engineering.
