There were 2 components to her role.Within the finance role, Amanda helped people within the business purchase goods and services so they can do their jobs better. She interacted with the majority of the tech-related business units, with 23 different managers and 7 secondary approvers, and had direct contact with the CEO. Day to day her role consisted of entered purchase orders to the correct GL, frequently liaising with vendors on the status of their invoice/s. Issued PO”s directly to Vendors,receipting invoices into the companies CRM (Netsuite), also reported to accounts payable monthly on invoices to be accrued. On average Amanda processed over $1m in invoices each month. The technical component of this role, Amanda was helping teams work more efficiently within the business, by mapping and implementing Zendesk. Working within other teams she understood their work flows and pain points. Zendesk drastically improved efficiency and transparency for 3 departments within REA.During her time at realestate.com.au (REA) she took 3 months maternity leave. Believing in her team & the company, she came back to work, part time capacity though 100% remote. After 12 months part time, Amanda returned to her full time role with a mix of remote & in office work.Amanda decided to move her family to Arrowtown New Zealand, REA were unable to facilitate her working remotely internationally & her role finished.
