Responsible for the overall function of the childcare center. Must have a good understanding of good business practices, administration, and child development in order to:• Ensure the overall well-being of children• Establish healthy, safe, and developmentally appropriate practices• Hire and maintain competent, motivated staff and provide for their professional development• Set appropriate expectations for staff• maintain clear communication with parents• Manage the center and provide for the financial soundness of the center over the long-term

• Responsible for general classroom management and supervision, which includes the personal care, hygiene, and positive discipline of the children • Plan and implement the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum, which includes activities for children that stress physical, social, and emotional growth and provides materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate, and use, both in learning activities and in active play. • Prepare materials and the classroom for class activities and conduct all activities in a safe, organized, and productive manner.
