My name is Amanda Mandalyan. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, where it should come as no surprise to anybody that I grew up obsessed with the media. So much so that until I reached college, I thought I wanted to be a doctor like Meredith Grey. It only took me one semester to realize that would never happen.Still, with iconic characters Lynette Scavo and Don Draper in the back of my mind, I shifted my focus to Communications. Last year, I graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Gender and Sexuality Studies. Since then, I’ve co-founded a media company with my best friend, for which we develop content and PR strategies.
