Poet, Writer And AuthorWhat Lies Between Feb 2016 - PresentBrisbaneWriting comes naturally to me like breathing and just being. What Lies Between developed from writing a poetry piece after losing my father in 2010. I've written since I was a teenager through the ups and downs in life, a suicide in the family, parents divorcing and moving on and finding new loves in their lives, marriage, divorce of my own, having children, new love, blended families, work, relationships, grief, loss of now both parents, sickness and rehabilitation, and all of What Lies Between. Poetry is a personal reflection and perception of a situation or something you wish to express. What Lies Between was created over a five year journey to find out what I had to do with it. Creating the booklet of What Lies Between began March 2016, and assists people going through their own challenges and hurdles. It aims to give people a personal place to reflect. It is available for you personally, send to a friend or someone you just know who needs someone to care and give them the opportunity to work it out. Small things create big changes. The Booklet has a directory of organisations in it for the reader to reach out when they need assistance - LifeLine, Beyond Blue, Cancer Australia, The Department of Veterans Affairs, Alzheimer's Australia, Family Drug Support Australia, Canteen, National Breast Cancer Foundation, Think Pink, The Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, White Ribbon, The Butterfly Foundation, Black Dog, Relationships Australia, Cancer Council of Australia, My Grief Assist and Funeral Organiser.$1 From each booklet will be donated back to a charity fund and then allocated to cheques sent to these organisations for each 250 sold. Thank you to Babette Bansousan of #MindShifts for her support in this journey. Published through In-house Publishing in Brisbane.www.whatliesbetween.com.au
