My Professional experiences have included provision of therapeutic counselling, social and health navigation program design and implementation, and teaching. Professionally my interest is in the use of social navigation screening within primary care and the impact this has on provider retention and client outcomes. These interests have led to opportunities to participate in various Provincial and Municipal level working groups to support macro level social work change and leadership best practice.Currently I operate a private practice providing remote services to clinicians, individuals and couples. To round out my clinical practice, I work within the Ministry of the Solicitor General, providing post conviction therapeutic interventions. My passion for the human services has led to my role providing curriculum guidance and instruction at Conestoga College within the life sciences department, specifically the social and health navigation program.
