I studied biochemistry, and while at Mount Union, I designed an honors thesis experiment based on previous literature, prepared daily laboratory methods, executed those methods, and reported my findings in a public forum presentation. My focus was in cancer immunotherapy, specifically, liposome tagging and targeting. I have in depth experience with all of the popular social media platforms, as I have utilized them in my previous musical endeavors through AC Jones Music Ltd., and I stay up to date (daily) on trends, new platform features, and ways to engage and communicate with followers and consumers. Given this background in creating and organizing marketing campaigns for my own single releases, merchandise, and performances, I have experience in connecting with consumers on a deeper level through unique narratives and stories, and in fostering relationships between individual consumers to both each other and the business that I represent. I also have a background in biochemistry and laboratory-based sciences, giving me the unique ability to describe complicated concepts in an easily understandable way, read and review scientific literature, and identify trends in data (including the analytics provided by social platforms!). I believe this scientific background could be helpful when it comes to writing engaging, educational, and easy-to-understand copy for blogs, social posts, and more. My experience in the laboratory has taught me how to effectively organize data, review scientific literature, delegate tasks, and formulate a plan that is based on past experience and results to improve upon those results in the future.
