Primary duties consisted of conducting legal research, drafting and revising motions, writing client advice memoranda, and attending meetings with Division clients. Topics included State Environmental Policy Act, endangered species, rule adoption, Indian tribal rights, and habitat protection.

Senior research assistant in Monetary Market Analysis, Division of Monetary Affairs. Supported daily open market operations by preparing a forecast of receipts and outlays for the Treasury’s account at the Federal Reserve, working closely with staff at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the Treasury. Prepared formal charts for briefings to the Board of Governors and Federal Open Market Committee meetings. Wrote and contributed to internal memos for division directors on subjects related to Treasury finances. Collaborated with economists on long-term research, including the working paper “Sticky Deposit Rates: Data and Implications for Models of Price Adjustment” with John Driscoll and Ruth Judson. Participated as a representative of Monetary Affairs in discussions regarding the Treasury’s Collections and Cash Management Modernization (CCMM) project.
