Pre-Doctoral Fellow (Georg Winter Lab)
- Led the development of the method “isogenic Cell Painting Assay” for discovering a class of drugs called molecular glues that enables the discovery of molecular glues targeting a wider range of proteins than previously.
- Built a HPC-compatible data pipeline using cellpose (pre-trained computer vision segmentation algorithm), Python and Julia data science libraries and CellProfiler (Python-based image analysis software) for image.
- Developed a feature selection and analysis approach for comparing cell morphology across different cell lines employing various statistical tests (e.g. Kendall’s tau-b correlation coefficient, Pearson’s correlation).
- Carried out network analysis to investigate the underlying bioactivities of hit compounds from the isogenic Cell Painting Assay, resulting in the discovery of a novel molecular glue.
