I am committed to improving diversity, equity, and inclusion in the medical transport and the greater healthcare network. My years as an educator, flight paramedic, and public speaker have allowed me to see healthcare through a unique lens. One of the most monumental obstacles to providing quality healthcare and excellent patient outcomes is the lack of diversity in critical positions. I intend to spend the rest of my career developing work environments where people from all genders, cultures, races, physical abilities, sexual orientations, and religions feel included and an integral part of the success of the company. My passion is speaking on healthcare disparities (particularly in the Indigenous population), antiracism, and creative inclusive workplaces. But I also speak on broader topics like being audacious in pursuing your career.
