Responsible for the administration and oversight of the Program, including the supervision of the in-patient/residential program. Provides supervision to counseling staff, ensuring that all clinical and related administrative policies and procedures are fully implemented and followed, participating in the recruitment and hiring of clinical treatment staff, ensuring that staff meet all professional requirements and are practicing within those requirements and related guidelines, managing the peer review process and utilizing it to improve clinical practices, and provide direct services to clients. Assist the Executive Clinical Director in the design, implementation, and management of the clinical and medical program; running therapy sessions where necessary, employing evidence-based treatment modalities for clients with substance abuse and clients struggling with a dual diagnosis.

Assist in the design, implementation, and management of the clinical program, running therapy sessions in group and individual formats, employing evidence-based treatment modalities for clients with substance abuse disorders and clients struggling with a dual diagnosis. Coordinates the treatment of clients assigned, develops treatment goals alongside the multi-disciplinary team. Provide therapeutic services, including delivery of assessments, conducting treatment planning, and coordinate clinical treatment services with families as well as ensure timely documentation of treatment for the billing team.

Provide individual counseling, as well as group counseling and didactic group facilitation, as assigned. Maintain a caseload of patients for counseling and case management and provide clinical assessments to determine eligibility for services. Ensure timely completion of necessary assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, treatment reviews, program evaluation, release of information forms, family letters, referral letters and forms, treatment verification forms, aftercare plans, discharge summaries, and reimbursement forms. Make level of care determinations and diagnose patients using DSM-5 criteria. Complete weekly or bi-weekly telephonic reviews regarding patient eligibility with MCOs and insurance partners to establish medical necessity. Monitor treatment plan progress, implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, and gather collaborative information from individuals, ancillary, technicians, nurses, other clinical staff, and supervisors to assess the appropriate time to move patients into other levels of care and/or to begin referral services. Take incoming calls for treatment services when assigned. Prepare and provide CEUs for agency staff. Preside over agency Wellness Committee; coordinate, plan, and host Wellness in the Workplace luncheons; and organize/monitor progress on monthly wellness challenges.

Provide a range of services including individual counseling and psychotherapy, group therapy and psychoeducation, case management (including collaboration with other service providers), consultation, participation in multidisciplinary treatment planning, skills training, and client advocacy; Demonstrate knowledge and practice of the latest information, theories, and proven practices related to the treatment of substance use disorders and co-occuring conditions; Diffuse or solve conflicts in group and crisis settings; Knowledge of the different assessments required for the population served; Understand and implement appropriate/required documentation.

Assisting the instructor in preparation of course materials and exams, grading assignments and exams, proctoring exams, assisting in the preparation and posting of grades, holding regularly scheduled office hours and providing individual and/or group assistance to students, lecturing in class in the absence of the instructor, performing other course-related duties.
