As an Academic Associate in the Mitch and Leslie Frazer Faculty of Education at Ontario Tech University, I support students as they cultivate their writing, digital creation, critical thinking, curriculum development, and educational leadership skills in the four-year Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Educational Studies program. This is a truly innovative hybrid program with online and in-person options for all courses in the curriculum, and is designed to provide maximum flexibility and choice while providing students with the tools and instruction they need to develop digital fluency and proficiency with educational technologies. Students in this program will prepare for rewarding careers in education, higher education, and teaching and learning pathways in private and public sector industries as teachers, instructional designers, trainers, learning specialists, and education consultants.

This role requires me to undertake needs assessment, instructional design mapping, curriculum writing, and eLearning development for the Indigenous Primary Healthcare Council.
