I am active in sales in the material handling division for Indoff, inc. Our company offers a wide variety of material handling products for all of your building and warehouse needs. I also actively work in the health and wellness industry. I work as a personal chef delivering meals to clients on a weekly or as needed basis. The company now has an effective process for payroll that did not previously exist and managers are highly appreciative of the assurance that they will be able to pay their employees accurately and on time. Outside the business world I have had the opportunity to serve my community over the years through various volunteer opportunities which have given me insight to work more effectively with others. Volunteer experience from my past has also given me the ability to communicate effectively in Spanish proficiently in writing and minimally in conversation.

Payroll ManagerAhi Facility Services, Inc. Aug 2013 - Feb 2015Dallas, TexasAs the payroll manager at AHI, I created a step by step process for executing all of payroll, giving clear guidelines to the approximately 40 account managers on how to handle each step of payroll to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of payroll checks for all employees. I reduced payroll errors companywide by approximately 90% and moved the payroll completion deadline up by two days to allow time for managerial review and corrections which eliminating delays in payroll checks entirely. Within two months time at AHI, I reduced the labor hours required to complete payroll by 50% through the implementation of an efficient and clear process that now allows me to process payroll for approximately 1,700 employees across 120 accounts on my own. A large portion of responsibility that I have taken on is in handling financial analysis and reviewing budgets for each of our individual accounts to ensure labor profitability is where it should be or higher. This has allowed me to work side-by-side with several managers to adjust labor hours and schedules to increase profitability. I have been recognized by area managers as well as executive management for exemplary performance on multiple occasions. In addition to my assumed payroll responsibilities, I have taken on a large portion of human resources tasks including: handling unemployment claims, filing quarterly payroll taxes, new hire reporting, and employment verifications. I implemented a uniform inventory control process that has reduced uniform costs for the company by an average of $500 a month. -
