Amanda Clements is the Grants Administrator and Support Assistant for Chatham County, GA Government. Amanda finished her graduate studies in Professional Communication and Leadership at Georgia Southern in the fall of 2020. Prior to moving the Coastal Georgia Area, Amanda lived in Athens, GA where she completed her Bachelors of Science from the University of Georgia. Amanda has worked closely with non-profit organizations and government agencies throughout the years.Among Amanda's skill sets are:-Overseeing a plethora of projects for the organization each year from concept through final delivery.-Preparing and submitting grant applications/proposals to corporate organizations and public and private foundations to solicit grant monies.-Grant platform management.-Facilitate and lead presentations and meetings.-Write and assemble bylaws for city boards that are associated with the Organization.-Coordinate and lead volunteers through various volunteer opportunities as related to the organization.-Manage all social media platforms for the organization and built the organization’s website from original concept to completion.-Manage the organization’s webpage and social media analytics and apply analytics to strategies in order to effectively reach our targeted audience..-Draft press releases detailing relevant newsworthy information for organization events with supporting brand image, and work with local news media to spread positions.
