Founder & Executive Director

Current

Dublin, Ohio, United States

Work Family Balance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Dublin, Ohio. Our mission is to address poor work life balance in the workforce and to increase parents' work life balance for greater health and happiness. We support parents who are working, in search of work, or in the process of taking classes or trainings to advance their careers. Our community program gives parents the gift of time. It's called Coworking & Care and features child supervision for children ages 6 months- 6 years and coworking for parents. Parents are able to focus and concentrate on what they need to do, including working, looking for work, applying to jobs, studying, completing online training, scheduling health appointments, exploring self-care opportunities, getting organized and connecting with other parents, and their children get to play, socialize, and learn nearby in a supervised area. In addition, Work Family Balance also advocates for more family-friendly federal policies that make it easier for parents to balance work and family. Key issues like affordable, accessible, and quality child care for all communities and paid leave are essential for working parents to be their best with their family and at work. To address these policy issues, Work Family Balance has started a family, business and community centered coalition for Ohioans called the Ohio Coalition for Work Family Balance.
