I work with hundreds of customers scheduling deliveries across the province. This involves organising daily routes in the Lower Mainland, and booking shipments/managing inventory at multiple 3PLs. I also created monthly sales reports and track inventory needs, availability, and production which has improved our scheduling efficiency.

Category Manager: In this role, I was the main point of contact for international brands distributed in the Outdoor Recreation industry. I managed North American purchasing and facilitated meetings between the brands and Eartheasy’s Sales and Marketing teams. I was the go-to contact for the 3PL and worked with them on all major projects. I was also the main point of contact with the broker and in charge of transportation and customs clearance of incoming inventory from 6 different countries and up to 3.5 million dollars worth of product annually. These responsibilities required PO creation, price negotiation, shipment optimization, SKU set-up, receiving, kitting, customs knowledge and NetSuite expertise.Customer Service: I started by managing their B2C customer service which involved monitoring the order process with our 3PL and multiple drop-ship vendors. I answered all live chats, emails and phone calls and solved all shipping issues.

During my time at Big Bus & WESTCOAST Sightseeing I held various positions in both front line and behind the scenes. These included Tour Desk Coordinator, Office Manager, Guest Service Manager and In-Market Sales Associate. I played a supportive role to all staff and departments. I required various administrative and sales skills to excel in all these position. I learned how to program both online and POS Sales systems, effectively use CRM systems, update social media, web design, media design, event planning, trip itinerary planning, Office Supply maintenance and sent email broadcasts using Mail chimp. I also was in charge of cash handling and the go-to person for any staff cash out questions. Through my variety of positions I mastered conflict resolution with both guests and staff. In the in-market sales position, I mastered strategically using our CRM, created organizational sheets to track goals and created sales and marketing materials. I was extremely effective in reaching monthly, quarterly and yearly goals. I maintained relationships through phone, email and in-person visits. I also helped plan networking events and tradeshows.

I began my journey in the hospitality industry by becoming a Hostess at White Spot. After showing my leadership abilities the management quickly created a position as “Head Hostess” for me so I could be in charge of the team. Eager for further experience, I also trained as an Expeditor and worked in this position for mornings and nights on the weekends. I also seized the opportunity to become a Carp Hop Server and excelled in this fast-paced position. This became my main position, but I continued to make myself available for Hostess and Expeditor shifts as needed.
