I implemented Trustpilot in November 2017 for Hire for Baby (HFB), to increase the visibility of customer satisfaction across their 70 franchises. This software was cost neutral in several months after Trustpilot enabled HFB to increase their Google Seller rating, reducing their Google Adwords costs.  With more than 2200 verified customer reviews, they have achieved the No 1 position for customer satisfaction in the baby category. Sales have increased due to my efforts in lifting HFB’s status as a trusted services provider. Implementing a new performance platform, I have made an additional $30K in national sales for the group and increased business for franchises in metro and regional areas!

Prepared grant submissions for AusIndustry R&D Tax Incentives and helped engineering, precision agriculture and manufacturing companies in the pre-submission phase to understand whether they had undertaken research and development work and helped them state the hypothesis they were testing. This part-time role ended prematurely due to a death in the family, which disrupted their business, followed shortly afterwards by the start of the pandemic.

Responsible for communicating the benefits for Precision Agriculture ( Smart farming / Site specific technologies) to a broad range of audiences across Australia to increase understanding and encourage adoption of these practises and technologies. Worked to create amazing content and shared stories online through social media and through educational course content and printed magazines in the areas of horticulture, viticulture, sugar and agriculture. Self-sufficiency course design and development, producing support materials & advertising using brochures and social media. Designing easy experiments for citizen scientists with bacteria, yeast and fungi cultures and posting on Emu Creek Farm Sunbury Facebook page. Assisted to set up a policy project in the planning phase to form the new Victorian Com-mission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation (VCGLR) involving the functions of the Direc-tor of Liquor Licensing, Responsible Alcohol Victoria (RAV) and the Victorian Commissionfor Gambling Regulation (VCGR). Researched similar projects in other jurisdictions,sought approval from the new government, prepared bid for funding, wrote briefs andmemos for the Secretary and Program Board, coordinated working groups to progressthe various workstreams. Assisted on schematic and detailed design for a new buildingfitout, leading up to construction.

A three month assignment to handover the function of Trade Measurement to the Commonwealth with project and operational responsibilities. This is one of the first National Reforms projects to go across on 1st July 2010.

Project Manager for Consumer Affairs Victoria for National Reforms Implementation (NRI) of 7 in-flight projects involving harmonisation of various state and territory laws, and in several cases, transferral of power to the Commonwealth. These changes are anticipated to reduce business costs, improve consumer protection and contribute to a seamless national economy.Assist to set up the NRI Project Office, scoping out the 7 projects, providing project management support, documenting project plans and status to enable a handover to in-coming Project Office Manager. 8 week assignment for project office.

Worked at Department of Justice MPPO in Melbourne CBD to develop a central Lessons Learned register in EDRMS TRIM on a two month contract. I created an register of lessons learned in MS Excel, from previous and current projects, collated and rewrote 1000 lessons and categorised in five different ways for reporting. Revised the process for capturing lessons learned to assist PMs going forward.

Worked on a UK-wide project to increase security levels for physical and logical access in police forces. This will ensure information is being accessed by the right people at the right time and potentially allow remote access to police systems. Through implementation of new smartcards, public key infrastructure, single sign ons and digital signing of documents, we will see stronger identification of individuals, accessing police systems with improved risk management and a clearly defined audit trail.My role provided support to the Business Change Manager and project team to map & model 'as is' and 'to be' business processes, define & communicate benefits and work with the project stakeholders in the various project groups.

Worked on the Management Information Systems (MIS) project, part of the Wiring Up Youth Justice programme to improve how information is used and shared across the Youth Justice system. This is a £17m per annum programme and ultimately will allow the sharing of information to be seamless, not only within the Youth Justice system but across the whole Criminal Justice and Children’s Services community. This will ensure that practitioners in the Youth Justice system have both the tools and the information they need to improve the lives of children and young people.My role provided support to the MIS project manager and business change teams to facilitate the introduction of the new youth justice management information system (YJMIS), communicating benefits and working with the project stakeholders and software suppliers to define the set of requirements for the XML schema in the lead up to the pilot.

Provided programme management support to the teams working in the National Government sector on the CJIT Programme (total value £25 million over 4 years), mentored project managers to ensure required procedures were utilised and a consistent management approach was maintained and, had day to day responsibility for the control of the London Westminster office.
