Prior to Smash, she led sourcing and identified new investments for The Walt Disney Company's accelerator / venture group. She was a Director at Techstars where she invested across various corporate venture groups including Disney, Cedars-Sinai, and Cox Enterprises. Earlier in her career, Amanda worked in media at Fox and Sony Pictures, in early stage venture at Plug and Play Ventures and Structure Capital, and with later stage companies as part of the Private Market and IPO teams at NASDAQ. Amanda was honored as a Forbes "30 Under 30" in venture capital and served as the Impact Chair of the Forbes "30 Under 30" Board. Amanda received her degree from the USC Marshall School of Business.
